Germania flight with boeing 737 aborted take-off on closed runway

Spanish examiners are investigating an occurrence including a Germania Boeing 737-700 which was cleared to withdraw from a shut runway at Las Palmas.

The flying machine (D-ABLB) had been approved for take-off from runway 03R at the Canary Islands air terminal on 7 January.

Spanish examination power CIAIAC says the runway had been closed with the end goal work should be completed.

After the 737 initiated its take-off run, airport regulation requested it to prematurely end the takeoff, and the flying machine was conveyed to an end.

The occurrence occurred in sunlight and meteorological information from the air terminal demonstrates great climate at the time.

None of the 135 travelers and five team individuals on board the airplane was harmed, says CIAIAC. The flying machine in this way left on runway 03L.
