If you, as a Monarch Airline passenger, got your flight delayed or even cancelled, then it is your right to receive compensation from the airline.

European Union’s Regulation EC 261/2004 says that if your flight was disrupted causing you to arrive later than 3 hours after the original arrival time, then it is your legal right receive compensation from the airline.
