Millions of Brits may be entitled to receive compensation for delayed flights

Millions of Britons could be owed hundreds of pounds in compensation for delayed flights.

The European Union introduced a regulation that changed the shape of the airline industry: if your flight from the last 6 years was disrupted (delayed or cancelled, or you were denied boarding or missed your connection flight) causing you to arrive later than 3 hours after the original arrival time, then it is your legal right to receive compensation from the airline. The compensation can be up to £600 per passenger in the form of cash, electronic bank transfer, cheque or travel vouchers.
